What to expect and how to prepare
This class weaves intentional movement with breath to spark a sense of presence and relaxed awareness in the entire body. We begin with a gentle warm up on the mat, followed by a slow vinyasa flow to encourage balance, flexibility and strength. The final third of the class is spent with slightly longer held poses to release deeply held tension and relax. Alignment cues, breathwork and inspirational themes are woven throughout the practice to connect body, mind and heart and nourish the soul. This class is suitable for most levels of yoga experience. Bring anything that supports your practice: blocks, blankets, cushions are helpful but not required. Essential for your comfort and safety is a non-slip yoga mat.
