What to expect and how to prepare
A class to slow down mind & body while nourishing your inner glow. This meditative practice begins with breath work and natural somatic movement sequences on the mat that invite whole body awareness and melt accumulated tensions from the day's activities. We continue with grounding yoga stretches that usually stay close to the mat. The final part of the practice incorporates some longer held and/or supported restorative poses — all to invite the nervous system to unwind at the end of the day. Light a candle, roll out your mat, and give yourself the gift of an hour to be with body and breath. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, and softly energized from the inside out. This class is suitable for all levels of experience. Blankets, cushions and blocks are helpful for the restorative poses in this class..
